Launch in a Day Agreement

By clicking yes to this agreement, you ("Client") agree to retain Shawn Kwek ("Service Provider") to proceed with web design services for a design intensive, packaged under Launch in a Day and agree to the terms and conditions as set forth in this Agreement.

During this intensive, Service Provider agrees to devote up to 8 hours on assignments to be determined by the Client, as well as 45 minute for a pre-intensive strategy call, 45 minutes for post-intensive “revision” support, and 14 days of post-intensive email support. Work will be performed at the offices of the Service Provider. Work priority and scheduling will be at the discretion of the Client. Work will normally occur between the hours of 8a - 4p ET based on availability.

Intended deliverables for the planned day of work include a 3-page Squarespace website.

PLEASE NOTE: Time is guaranteed but not deliverables. If pre-work is not completed sufficiently, major revision requests, delayed decision-making, or other events that delay efforts during the planned day of work, the work will be delivered 'as-is' at the end of the time period. A follow-on day or half-day may be booked, at cost, if desired.

During the 14 days of post-intensive support, the Client will be able to email Service Provider with any questions or concerns about the work that was performed during the intensive and will receive a reply via email. This support does not cover additional design or website work that exceeds what was done during the intensive. If the Client has additional work that needs to be performed, the Client will have the option to book another day or a half-day intensive.

Payment for these services will be to Service Provider at the rate of $1,595 and will be due upon securing a time of design intensive.

Design services in addition to the intensive will be made available by Service Provider at the current daily or half-date rate and will be billed separately. Any expenses exclusive of normal overhead are not included in this agreement and will be billed separately. Examples of such expenses are stock images, premium font licenses, and 3rd party application services.

The results of any and all work performed by the Service Provider for the Client, including original creative work, will remain the property of the Client. The Client may use this material in any way deemed appropriate.

The Client understands that any written statements, images, audio recordings, or video recordings of the Client while participating in the intensive and made on behalf of the Service Provider may be used in connection with publicizing and promoting the Service Provider. The Client authorizes the Service Provider to use their name, brief biographical information and written or recorded statements.

This purchase is non-refundable but may be transferred to another date or service with 7-days prior written notice. The Client's deposit is valid for 90 days and must be used within that timeframe. In the event, the intensive fails to occur within 90 days, or the Client fails to request a new date at least 7 days prior to their booked appointment, the deposit will be forfeited, and the intensive will be terminated. If the Client wishes to reschedule beyond 90 days, the original deposit may, at the Service Provider’s discretion, be applied to a new booking at the current intensive rate, which may or may not be higher than the original booking rate.

Squarespace supports the most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Safari for editing your site. Squarespace further supports the most recent versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Internet Explorer for viewing your site. The more recent your and your site visitor's browser, the better experience you and your visitors will have. All Squarespace sites are built with a responsive design and mobile styles are tested via the Squarespace design editor. Please refer to http://help.squarespace.com/guides/supported-browsers for more information on the browser and mobile support.

Technical Support

Squarespace is a hosted web service and once your website is live you will deal with them directly regarding any performance or server support.

Squarespace Software Upgrades

Shawn Kwek is not responsible for ensuring the compatibility of your site with potential future Squarespace software upgrades. Should these changes impact the functionality of your site you may hire Shawn Kwek to adapt your site to any changes if necessary.
